It can be lonely, being a reader. (Imagine "It's Not Easy Being Green" from the Kermit Unpigged album playing in the background.) And, in the genre of trucks, babes, and loneliness, we present "All My Friends (Are Dead)" as an intro to our first album, Starpants LITerature. (That genre, to be completely clear, is country, not beer.)

In this album, we wanted to introduce the listener to great books and stories, many of which don't receive their due. So, the lyrics of "All My Friends Are Dead," the title track, reflect a reader's relationship with books. Aubrey sang three different parts to blend the vocals, and Quinn played electric guitar---and everything else. (Let's be honest.) Special thanks to Weston Jones, the mensch, for his assistance with live drums. You are, and forever will be, a rockstar.
This is the only "original" track on the album (meaning, not based purposefully based on a book). Look for a link to a children's book we had no idea existed, but fits this album perfectly.
